Wybaczcie mi moją ciągłą nieobecność, ale ostatnimi czasy brak mi czasu na cokolwiek! Nawet nie odczuwam wakacyjnego klimatu i wciąż nie mogę uwierzyć, że już połowa lipca za nami..

Z góry przepraszam za jakość (i ilość!) dzisiejszych zdjęć. Bardzo zależało mi, żeby w końcu się z czymś nowym pojawić. 🙂

Let me start off on how amazing the prints on this piece are! They remind me so much of vintage Versace prints don’t you think? Not to mention the amazing color combination on this one which totally compliments my skin tone. HA!

And instead of just tucking it in like the protocol way of styling your silky blouses I tied mine into a knot to make it look relaxed and laid back. Since I was off to a Spa Party I figured I might as well go to Resort wear/styling for the day.

Based on my post you’d know that the center point of this whole look would have to be my top. . I figured dresses aren’t always appropriate in all occasions. I can’t just wear a dress to every event I go to! haha Thus the great decision on investing on classic tops. After a few years from now I can still totally see myself wearing this piece and even passing it down to future generations! haha Okay.. thinking way too far a long here. But seriously, when I’m in my mid 30’s you’d definitely spot me with this same top!

Here’s to hoping I pick more timeless pieces over trendy ones!

(Okay… despite printed scarf print tops being a present trend but I guess it has become a classic fashion staple too.. haha You guys get the idea! I will stop now… -.-)

Machu Picchu

I woke up this morning with an awful sore throat and flem (phleghm? pleghm? what?) lodged up all up inside. Gross, huh? 😉 I still had to do a lot of things for Miracle Eye today regardless of the fact that I was dying. Life of a business owner sure is totally great.. tote-ally. totes. After running 23849723984ioerjqwlkefj (letters mixed with numbers are a unit of measurement, yes) necessary errands today, I got home and watched seasons 4-6 of Dexter all over again. Tons of ice cream, and tons of blood involved — My two favorite things, yay! Now that we’re on the topic of blood, my dad underwent a procedure a few days ago and is finally getting better. He is really strong, and seeing him go through so much pain was really difficult for me. I finally got some sleep, but I was really worried and just overall despondent. Anyways, I hope you all have a wonderful day. PS this song is literally the best thing on Earth, aside from cheese, duh. OH AND DUDEZ, PARTICULARLY *AMERICAN* DUDES WITH CABLE, NEW WORKAHOLICS TONIGHT. Tune in, it’s on Comedy Central. I will be politely asking my rabbit Panchita to leave the room as I’ll be making babies during the commercials. Hello everyone!

How are you all…? I feel in a much better mood than I have been this past week. Maybe it’s the sunshine. Maybe it’s the fact that I have 7 days of high school left. Maybe it’s the fact that I’m wearing a beret and red lipstick; my two favorite things in the world. Or maybe it’s all of them combined.

Anyways I took my picture for my senior superlative award of Best Dressed today. Ahh, disaster just like I predicted. I don’t understand how I can take thousands of pictures for this blog for two and a half years and then totally freeze in front of the camera for one measly yearbook/newspaper photo. Sigh, forever awkward will I be. Let’s hope this awkwardness wears off in college!

A Bit 60’s-tastic

This outfit is actually from this very day! Surprise! I had a presentation about media in the Vietnam War era so I figured a late 60’s-inspired outfit would be appropriate. I tend to be like, “yeah inspiration from a certain era!” and then I end up in a costume. But I liked this outfit very much and I especially liked that I could wear tights in late April.

I went with the cat eye liner that I like to do, but I just played up my eyes more with shadows and whatnot. Then I had to have a nude lip, of course!

I thrifted my vintage shoes over spring break for something like $3.50. They’re even real leather.

Now that I’ve procrastinated by blogging, I have to get started on actual school work. It’s my last full week of classes. Sad. Except not really because I’m sick of this semester!

Não compreendo mesmo este tempo… parece que voltamos ao Inverno. É uma pena, mas pronto…ontem tive um dia super ocupada a preparar uma apresentação para a faculdade. I do not understand  this weather … seems like we are back to winter. It’s a pitty, but anyways … yesterday I had a very busy day preparing myself for a college presentation. Now, I’m enjoying a late afternoon in the company of my tea and the sound of Bon Iver, while it’s raining outside.
