I can officially say that as of yesterday I have finished 3/4 of my undergraduate degree. It’s rather nerve-wracking. It feels like I just started university, and I’m already forced to start thinking about what I want to pursue after I finish my undergrad. I’m definitely interested in more education, but the only problem is that I need to decide what it is that I intend to study. Oh the woes of being twenty! I’ve been trying to fit in a lot of personal reading during the last few weeks, which is something I pushed aside during the school year, and I must say that after reading The Catcher in the Rye, and Franny and Zooey, I have thought of nothing but how incredibly hard it is to decide how to proceed with the future.

My mom made this blouse many moons ago, and unfortunately, I don’t wear it enough (probably because when my hair was long the material would make my hair static-y. Now, that’s not a problem. It’s a lovely piece and it lies close to my heart because of the beautiful pattern. I cannot help being attracted to patterned clothing. I’ll be walking down the street, and the next thing I know I’m drawn to a store window because I saw a ridiculously printed skirt…which I then end up buying.

I’m off to get some well earned sleep, and possibly to curl up with a good book beforehand.

Friday already! The long week-end has finally arrived!
A simple look for an afternoon stroll around the shops and an unexpected purchase.  I chose my “waxed” pants with a black blazer that I haven’t worn for over a year and decided to add a splash of colour with the pale pink sequin sweater, the clutch and nails and added one feather earing.
The unexpected purchase that I mentioned before was two pairs of shoes from Aldo that I fell in love with and which I’ll be showing you soon. I adore Aldo from now on!

Ya estamos a viernes! El querido fin de semana con puente ha llegado!

Hoy os enseño un look bastante sencillo y cómodo para una tarde de paseo y alguna comprita inesperada. Elegí mis pantalones encerados con una blazer negra que hacía mas de un año que no usaba y decidí dar los pequeños toques de luz(o color) con el jersey rosa palo con lentejuelas y con el clutch y las uñas y accesorios y romper un poco llevando un solo pendiente (que es algo que me encanta cuando es llamativo) de plumas.

La compra inesperada que os he dicho antes fueron dos pares de zapatos en Aldo que os enseñaré muy pronto y que me enamoré de ellos, adoro Aldo a partir de ahora!

Que planes tenéis para el puente? Espero que paséis muy buen puente!!

This outfit is actually from this very day! Surprise! I had a presentation about media in the Vietnam War era so I figured a late 60’s-inspired outfit would be appropriate. I tend to be like, “yeah inspiration from a certain era!” and then I end up in a costume. But I liked this outfit very much and I especially liked that I could wear tights in late April.

I went with the cat eye liner that I like to do, but I just played up my eyes more with shadows and whatnot. Then I had to have a nude lip, of course!

I thrifted my vintage shoes over spring break for something like $3.50. They’re even real leather.

Now that I’ve procrastinated by blogging, I have to get started on actual school work. It’s my last full week of classes. Sad. Except not really because I’m sick of this semester!

Não compreendo mesmo este tempo… parece que voltamos ao Inverno. É uma pena, mas pronto…ontem tive um dia super ocupada a preparar uma apresentação para a faculdade. Agora estou aproveitar um final de tarde na companhia do meu chá, ao som de Bon Iver, enquanto chove lá fora. Muito bom 🙂 O que andam a fazer? By the way, adoro esta minha nova camisa da romwe, principalmente pelo detalhe do colarinho em glitter e as aberturas nos ombros…. é linda. Love, V

I do not understand  this weather … seems like we are back to winter. It’s a pitty, but anyways … yesterday I had a very busy day preparing myself for a college presentation. Now, I’m enjoying a late afternoon in the company of my tea and the sound of Bon Iver, while it’s raining outside.
