Wybaczcie mi moją ciągłą nieobecność, ale ostatnimi czasy brak mi czasu na cokolwiek! Nawet nie odczuwam wakacyjnego klimatu i wciąż nie mogę uwierzyć, że już połowa lipca za nami..

Z góry przepraszam za jakość (i ilość!) dzisiejszych zdjęć. Bardzo zależało mi, żeby w końcu się z czymś nowym pojawić. 🙂

Everybody Needs a Trench

Il trench è sicuramente il protagonista indiscusso del mio outfit di oggi. Vi avevo già parlato dell’importanza di un trench che in “The Little Black Book of Style” viene evidenziato come uno dei capi intramontabili che ogni donna dovrebbe avere nel proprio guardaroba. Personalmente non avevo ancora un trench basico, e credo di potermi ritenere soddisfatta questo capo Giorgia & John che, nonostante si allontani dalla linea classica, ha una linea più femminile e sottolinea il punto vita, e per questo mi piace ancora di più. Cosa ne pensate?

Trench is the protagonist in this post. I have already told you about trench, in “The Little Black Book of Style” it is considered like a basic item, everybody needs it in the closet. I had not a basic trench, but now I’m totally satisfied with my Giorgia & Johns outfit, it isn’t a classic model but it’s a really female model and I really like this. What do you think?

I can officially say that as of yesterday I have finished 3/4 of my undergraduate degree. It’s rather nerve-wracking. It feels like I just started university, and I’m already forced to start thinking about what I want to pursue after I finish my undergrad. I’m definitely interested in more education, but the only problem is that I need to decide what it is that I intend to study. Oh the woes of being twenty! I’ve been trying to fit in a lot of personal reading during the last few weeks, which is something I pushed aside during the school year, and I must say that after reading The Catcher in the Rye, and Franny and Zooey, I have thought of nothing but how incredibly hard it is to decide how to proceed with the future.

My mom made this blouse many moons ago, and unfortunately, I don’t wear it enough (probably because when my hair was long the material would make my hair static-y. Now, that’s not a problem. It’s a lovely piece and it lies close to my heart because of the beautiful pattern. I cannot help being attracted to patterned clothing. I’ll be walking down the street, and the next thing I know I’m drawn to a store window because I saw a ridiculously printed skirt…which I then end up buying.

I’m off to get some well earned sleep, and possibly to curl up with a good book beforehand.

Não compreendo mesmo este tempo… parece que voltamos ao Inverno. É uma pena, mas pronto…ontem tive um dia super ocupada a preparar uma apresentação para a faculdade. Agora estou aproveitar um final de tarde na companhia do meu chá, ao som de Bon Iver, enquanto chove lá fora. Muito bom 🙂 O que andam a fazer? I do not understand  this weather … seems like we are back to winter. It’s a pitty, but anyways … yesterday I had a very busy day preparing myself for a college presentation. Now, I’m enjoying a late afternoon in the company of my tea and the sound of Bon Iver, while it’s raining outside.
