Let me start off on how amazing the prints on this piece are! They remind me so much of vintage Versace prints don’t you think? Not to mention the amazing color combination on this one which totally compliments my skin tone. HA!

And instead of just tucking it in like the protocol way of styling your silky blouses I tied mine into a knot to make it look relaxed and laid back. Since I was off to a Spa Party I figured I might as well go to Resort wear/styling for the day.

Based on my post you’d know that the center point of this whole look would have to be my top. . I figured dresses aren’t always appropriate in all occasions. I can’t just wear a dress to every event I go to! haha Thus the great decision on investing on classic tops. After a few years from now I can still totally see myself wearing this piece and even passing it down to future generations! haha Okay.. thinking way too far a long here. But seriously, when I’m in my mid 30’s you’d definitely spot me with this same top!

Here’s to hoping I pick more timeless pieces over trendy ones!

(Okay… despite printed scarf print tops being a present trend but I guess it has become a classic fashion staple too.. haha You guys get the idea! I will stop now… -.-)

BLACK & WHITE DRESS A LA MAID OF THE RITZ

 Assuming that dress, even with heels, I feel sometimes like a maid. Quite comical feeling. However, the trend combination of black and white more or less promoted by Emporio Armani, Jason Wu, or Oscar de la Renta allows an elegant feel. Let’s put aside the association with childhood, when moms carefully prepared the white shirts and pleated skirts to start the school year for their children. This combination of colors is timeless, so I’m like most of it! This dress is my next booty brought from Dublin (with coat) 🙂

Zakładając tą sukienkę, nawet z obcasami czuję się czasami jak pokojówka. Dość komiczne uczucie. Jednakże trend połączenia bieli i czerni promowany przez  Emporio Armani, Jasona Wu czy Oscara de la Renty pozawala poczuć się elegancko. Na bok odłóżmy skojarzenia z lat dziecinnych, kiedy mamy starannie przygotowywały białe koszule i plisowane spódniczki na rozpoczęcie roku szkolnego. Takie połączenie kolorystyczne jest ponadczasowe, więc ja jestem jak najbardziej na tak! Ta sukienka, to mój kolejny łup przywieziony z Dublina (wraz z płaszczykiem) Obejrzeć już ją mogliście w wywiadzie TUTAJ 🙂

Everybody Needs a Trench

Il trench è sicuramente il protagonista indiscusso del mio outfit di oggi. Vi avevo già parlato dell’importanza di un trench che in “The Little Black Book of Style” viene evidenziato come uno dei capi intramontabili che ogni donna dovrebbe avere nel proprio guardaroba. Personalmente non avevo ancora un trench basico, e credo di potermi ritenere soddisfatta questo capo Giorgia & John che, nonostante si allontani dalla linea classica, ha una linea più femminile e sottolinea il punto vita, e per questo mi piace ancora di più. Cosa ne pensate?

Trench is the protagonist in this post. I have already told you about trench, in “The Little Black Book of Style” it is considered like a basic item, everybody needs it in the closet. I had not a basic trench, but now I’m totally satisfied with my Giorgia & Johns outfit, it isn’t a classic model but it’s a really female model and I really like this. What do you think?

Não compreendo mesmo este tempo… parece que voltamos ao Inverno. É uma pena, mas pronto…ontem tive um dia super ocupada a preparar uma apresentação para a faculdade. Agora estou aproveitar um final de tarde na companhia do meu chá, ao som de Bon Iver, enquanto chove lá fora. Muito bom 🙂 O que andam a fazer?
